Your enemy, satan the deceiver, seeks to limit you because he - TopicsExpress

Your enemy, satan the deceiver, seeks to limit you because he knows how effective and powerful you can be when you operate in your full God-given authority. Beware the enemy swooping in with craftiness to engage you in hand-to-hand combat over recurring areas of temptation, oppression and depression. He is hitting you with things that are part of your ‘old man’. He knows he can’t win but he hopes that by warring with you on this ‘local’ or ‘street’ level, he will distract and keep you occupied in a tug-of-war. He is desperate that you don’t look at things from a Godly perspective, because if you did, you would see your new identity in Christ. You would grow into a greater awareness of who you are and the authority that you carry. You are not a scrapper, a street-fighter; you are a mighty General Psalm 82:6. The more you walk in this realization, the easier it will be to walk away from the hand-to-hand wars Ephesians 6:12. It is therefore time to work on your mindset. Listen to what encouragers say to you and about you. Don’t dismiss their commendation and encouragement; absorb it. And make Godly declarations of His truth over yourself. 1 Peter 2:9, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 4:22-24, Romans 8:14-15. Finally, Knowledge inspires inner virtues to operate at maximum performance. Your Prophetic Identity was designed to function and also to create and add value to lives. Every time you are not functioning in your divine purpose, fulfillment is halted. Therefore, it is important for us to know we are valued not for our function or calling, but simply because we are children of God. Because if we derive our affirmation and value and self-worth from our function instead from God who empowers (Deuteronomy 8:18), then we will end up taking the holy things of God and the gifts He has given us and using them to build our own kingdom and not His. Therefore, we must not risk doing ministry and living our lives for the praise of man. In summary, God wants us to return to His word and rebuild our personal identity. We must set up altar for Him in our living rooms and make ourselves worthy of the altar.
