Your future begins with what you do today to make your tomorrow happen. The future isnt just going to fall into your lap all assembled, it requires faith, expectation and an emerging vision. Isaiah said, But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? (Isa 43:18-19) Measure your time here on earth, and begin to live life deliberately. Learn from the past but refuse to be trapped by it. Think of your life as a story with many chapters. Each chapter has a beginning and an end, and a TRANSITION to the next chapter. We tend to focus on the Chapters (those important things we do) and not on the Transitions which are (when our lives come apart, go off track when we are desperately seeking whats next.) Chapters and Transition are both important in the script that God is writing about your life. Your life is constantly changing and for the most part isnt better or worse, its just different. Its those different times that God is forming new chapters. In music, one of the most effective things is when theres a significant pause, called “Selah.” Found in the book of Psalms, this pause (Transition) is so effective, because it’s not done in silence. It’s a transition when the chorus now has a double impact and emphasis. So thats what God is going to do in your life but it requires faith on your part. Happy Tuesday Everyone.
