Youre meant to stand by me, youre meant to always be there, when Im afraid, when Im scared. Instead you throw me away, You pretend I was never there. Im gone from your life forever, Why dont you care? You traded me in for someone new, I refused to be quiet and just say yes. For that you punished me, You killed me from the inside. Goodbye was easy for you, But so hard for me. I try but fail to move on, Its always in the back of my mind. How can I move on, How can I forget? The person I thought Id always have, Threw me away without a second thought. Trying to rebuild, But it never works. Promises always made, Always broken. You have forever broken me, I am forever damaged. I will be happy again, But you are still in my head. I have a new life, Filled with people who care.
