Z Home Features about this home: Energy tax credits of .15 kwh from PSE. Savings of $1113 back from PSE for the energy generated by the solar panels from July 2012-June 2013 and it was estimated to earn $955 for this unit so it actually came in higher than expected. First floor options: you can position a screen divider or add drywall to divide if you prefer a more traditional bedroom layout. The two neighbors across chose to create a divided room vs. the open floor plan on the first floor. The filtered rainwater is to a 5 micron filter that is filtered outside the back door in the pipe to clear any debris and then inside the laundry closet is a finer 10 and 5 micron dual filter process. It is similar to water bottles sold in REI for hikers who filter creek or stream runoff water to drink. It is classified non-potable but we were told in emergency would not be that bad for us and also could boil it if worried. It is clear if you look in toilet or laundry we have not had problems and the manual shows to change filters every 6 months or as needed so we did that preventative but did not have any issue with the water color or odor. The attic is large enough to stand and walk around and has a second area across the loft space that can be useful to store suitcases, snow boards and tubs or boxes for off season clothes like we have used. A ladder hanging in the garage mounted on hooks is being left for the next homeowner. The range is an induction cook top. Use of induction compatible pots and pans. This means the top heats the pan and water will boil more quickly. The other benefit is the cool to the touch feature to avoid burning yourself on the surface and energy efficient ratings in all the appliances. The outdoor trash building has several recycling bins, trash bins and a compost bin to do our part for avoiding landfill and contributing. It is emptied on a regular weekly basis and neighbors all keep it tidy inside. You can walk over to the Highlands Park & Ride, shopping, etc.... Fabulous Location!
