Zambias political happenings are an open secret to the type of leadership that this country has. Truthfully speaking, the country is in a very serious leadership crisis. The party in power behaving like they are in opposition and the opposition acting as though they were in power. Interesting!!! Joe Montana, a legendary football quarterback defines leadership and i quote leadership is a willingness to take the blame And i ask who in this case is ready to do this between the two factions(Scott and my Lungu). Another defination of leadership if you like is; an act that causes others to act or respond in a shared direction. The leader has a huge task of driving team collaboration and oneness in the party. However, a leader can only do this when he commends respect and inspires confidence in the people he leads. leadership is never fought for in the same way lions fight for control of their tuff. It is simply acquired through dialogue, transpaency and building trust in ones followers. They say the constitution has to be followed. One is left to wonder which constitution they are following because as far as reality is concerned, these are shameless jokers who will stop at nothing to just get what is dully not theirs. They will manipulate anything including nothing simply to get what they want. What they dont know however is the simple fact that the selection process doesnt end at party level. They still have to face the voters who have the final say. Im counting the days to 90 till 20th January 2014 when the real bosses will speak and decide through the vote. Till then enjoy the comedy of errors.....................
