Zeus has found the ACC as confusing as everyone else does. First this 2 year old teenager was hauled in off the streets and labeled a stray. Then he was put up against a wall and a bright light went off for a picture. And then someone wanted to do things with him—it seemed like playing, but he just wasn’t sure. Zeus is a male gray and white pit bull mix who needs our help tonight. He has many fine qualities indicating he would make a stellar pet, friend, and companion. Although tense upon intake, Zeus was also called “friendly” and “accepted touch.” He is a sweetheart! On the safer portion of the assessment Zeus was split—he easily went into the play position, and made those lovely huffing and popping sounds with the assessor indicating he enjoys the spirit of fun! Other parts of the safer confused Zeus and he bit the assess-a-hand. This could be that Zeus was actually playing. This small detail did land Zeus with an NH only label so you must go through a NH approved rescue to get Zeus. We must hurry though as Zeus has been placed on the to be destroyed list tonight at the ACC. Zeus deserves a chance to have a wonderful life in a new home. He is a young and spirited dog who likes to play and run. Please don’t let Zeus down. Let’s advocate for him tonight. Tomorrow he will be gone!
