a day out @ Babas shipyard (Guangzhou Longxue Shipyard, China). Today I had to work on Sunday afternoon for some urgent tasks (a typical shipbuilding practice). Baba, kids & Sonal also were happy to join me to see our shipyard. They have already seen a Korean shipyard @ Mokpo and Jinhaiwan - China. Our Baba, himself being a gold medalist Mechanical Engineer, is immensely interested seeing everything a bustling ship-construction facility can offer. This time around our kids are grown enough to find some good inspiration in their daddys bread winning profession & expressed their spirited willingness to join me once they grow up. The excitement & curiosity in their observant eyes is just priceless on such occasions. And to wife, in a way these visits are some timely reminders of how really her hubby has to slog while it seems all easy cozy from outside. We had a tour of the shipyard and then I went on for my work while kids enjoyed some uninhibited bicycle rides all around on good roads in the yard along with Sonal & Baba! All in all, it was a good shipyard picnic thanks to the GLS.
