Still, they had this bad habit of only electing the wealthy, the privileged, and as the system grew around this elite perspective it drifted away from the experiment until a great lie began to be told -the experiment was to create wealth and our rights are the rights to be their profit, rights of product choice and the right to dream the delusion we will join this elite, separating us from the comfortable hell most were forced to live within. So, after several hundred years - it all collapsed. Looking back, why would any country consistently elect the privileged? To understand this, you have to know about their "founding fathers", the ideology of capitalism, and their corrupted two party political system.
