#amtopic Dear Christine,I have been married for seven years. The first two were some of the best years. I could not ask for more. We were extremely happy but then my husband started to drink seriously. At first he would stay out late on Friday nights, then three or four more nights a week. Now, there is hardly a night that he comes in early or sober. He is not a bad-behaved drunk. He is either full of fun or he is out cold within minutes. He works for a good salary but I see very little of it. Most is spent on liquor either with his friends or what he brings home. A few months ago he started talking about a baby. With things as they are I do not want to have a child. In fact, I have often thought about leaving. I love my husband and I am tempted to do as he asks because he feels that our not having children is what makes him drink.
