....and then there were 3!! Makenna had an up and down week. She had chemotherapy on Wednesday. Everything went fine with the treatment, however Makenna spiked a fever on Wednesday night. This led us back to the CHOP ER. They did the usual blood checks, cultures, and preventive antibiotics. Everything checked out ok, so they let us come back home around 3AM on Thursday morning. By the afternoon on Thursday the fever had disappeared. After catching up on sleep Thursday, Makenna was able to participate in all the Halloween fun at school and the trick or treat last night. I have posted some of her pics from yesterday. Makenna has 3 more treatments left. In two weeks, she will have another 5-day treatment. After that she has two more 1-day treatments in December.
