and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Luke 21:23b-24. Jesus words are forever, and they address peoples of all times, even unto the time of the great tribulation. They were vague enough, and He said it was so in the parable of the man who did not know the time the thief would come, so that people of all times wold be ready. he also said He would give His servants the proper food at the proper time, as i have said so many times before. In this little section of scripture we must first identify this people. It seems easy, as he was speaking before this of the destruction of the temple. These people are the Jews. He also is speaking of a time when the times of the gentiles is fulfilled, when Jerusalem is trampled by the gentiles. I want to discuss an amazing thing that has been happening in our times since 1948, and how it is like a mirror image of what happened in the years 606BC, to the time Cyrus came in in 538 or 539 BC. Grant Jeffries showed an amazing prophecy fulfilled by the date May 15, 1948 by the prophecy of Ezekial 4. Anyone who wants to see it, I can show, but in the interest of shortening these long posts, understand 1948, was a significant year, and if you will, it was the event that made this scripture among many others true; The fierce anger of the LORD will not turn back Until He has performed and until He has accomplished The intent of His heart; In the latter days you will understand this. A reading of jer. 30, 31, 33 will show it is speaking of the time of the end when Israel is back in her land forevermore. More than that, it speaks of what is just ahead. According to the Torah and the Prophets, the generation that witnesses the “restoration of Israel” is connected to the coming of Messiah. In Babylon, Nebuchadnezzer attacked Jerusalem and this is called the first exile, in 606 BC. Daniel and his friends were exiled at this time. In the 8th year of Nebuchadnezzers reign, he attacked again, and in this the second exile, Ezekial and king Jehoiachin were captured (2 kings 24:12). 11 years later, in the 19th year of Nebuchadnezzers reign, Jerusalem was destroyed, and the temple as well. So i dont get too far ahead.In 1947, and through 20 months beginning at may 15, 1948, Israel was attacked, but miraculously they were victorious. 8 years later , the 1956 Suez canal war broke out and again Israel was victorious. 11 years later, or 19 years from 1948, in 1967, Israel was again attacked and were victorious. this time they gained back Jerusalem, in a Six Day War. We are nearing 6 days in Gods timing saints. The interesting thing about these 19 years, is that 19 years, is called a metonic cycle, which I have spoke of before. This is the time it takes for the times of the gentiles, and the times of the Jews to line up in their calendars. and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Since 1967, Jerusalem has been in the control of Israel. I could speak of the fourth exile and Gedaliah and the Yom Kippor war, and how all these things, including Jeremiahs leaving for Israel also line up, but I will speak only of two more events as the pattern should be clear already. the first event is this; Now it came to pass in the thirty-seventh year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, that Evil-Merodach king of Babylon, in the year that he began to reign, released Jehoiachin king of Judah from prison. It is said in Jeremiah, that he lifted up his head. Jehoichin was captured in the eight year, which corresponds to 1956, and 37 years later would be our year 1993. Now the 12th month of the Hebrew and Babylonian calendar, is the month Elul. In 1993, the 27th day of Elul fell on Sept. 13 in the gregorian calendar. On that day, in the first year of Bill Clinton, Yasser Arafat and Yitzak Rabin signed a treaty in Washington. it was the Oslo 1 accord, and many thought it was the 7 year contract of Daniel 9:27. But, it was not the time, as i have been saying this last 9 months. All the times are in Gods word and they all line up so that we should have known. Interestingly some papers said that this agreement lifts the heads for the prospect of peace in the middle east. The other one that I will mention pertains to the near future, but the date is the same. On Tishri 1, the seventh month of the Harvest calendar of Israel, in the year 1960, a man was born, who last year was voted the leader of the opposition party in Israel. His name is Isaac Herzog, and his father and grandfather were great men in Israel in the past. Isaac herzog is in favor of trading land for peace, and the enemies within Israel, are like unto the times when Vespacion first came in before the destruction of the temple. Anyone who is watching Israel, and the Jewish state, knows this about this time. In Jer. 28, we find in the forth year of Zedekiah, the king who replaced Jehoichin, a prophet of the name Hananiah spoke a lie concerning peace for Israel, and this was equivalent to our year 1960, the 8th+4, or 12th year since 1948; So Hananiah the prophet died in the same year in the seventh month.Jer 28:17 There is an interesting thing that happened during the Yom Kippor war in 1973, and that is that the current Pope Francis, was visiting Israel when this war broke out. This was the onlt time he has ever visited Israel, and he is going there again this year to meet with Shimon Peres, and Mahmoud Abbas, in May. it was in that year also that America and Israel began to court Egypt. Jeremiah left for Egypt asbout this time in the babylonian counterpart to what is going on in our day. Last year when Iran decided to make efforts to lift the worlds sanctions against them, Netanyahu spoke of the coming of Cyrus. Now from 606, to 539 BC, is 67 years, and from 1947-8 to 2014, is 66-67 years. Tomorrow, or the next day, I will speak, Lord willing, on the seventieth week of the prophecy of Daniel 9:27, and Daniel 12, and how it lines up perfectly with the times. Incidentally, Isaac herzogs grandfather opposed the white papers of the League of Nations that were presented by Winston Churchill in 1922. This was the first global confederation to yell international peace and security. In this last week alone, we have seen the rider of the red horse, the rider of the black horse, and the rider of the Pale (cloros), or actually green horse, stirring greatly, and the rider of the white horse is confused as to which way to turn. In Luke 21:25-27, Jesus says; “There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. “Then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN A CLOUD with power and great glory. Who is this they? And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. God is protecting Israel saints. the major perpetrators of the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, and 1973, were Egypt and Syria. Jer. 30:16 Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey. Now of the verse 28 in Luke 21, we have this; WHEN THESE THINGS BEGIN TO TAKE PLACE, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near. The beginning of What things saints? The things that are after the times of the gentiles being fulfilled, of verses 25-26. What took place in 67-73 AD, is about to be restored in the opposite order, as is the babylonian captivity of Judah; Jer. 33:7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first. Lift up your heads saints, for your redemption draws near. let us be found doing and let us not be afraid to warn others of the things to come. if they do not believe now, perhaps they will later, and not fall to the great delusion, that is already becoming apparent, but only just slightly, and by which many will be deceived in that time.
