anybody remember Cindy Sheehan? seems like her face was always on the news. pictured with Jesse Jackson and Hugo Chavez, Sean Penn and Ed Asner, and various Democrat polls. The leftwing news media and Maureen Dowd in particular referred to her as Mother Sheehan. Her son Casey was killed in Iraq and she was a gold star mother. That gave her the ultimate moral suasion to criticize president Bush for the Iraq war and no matter where he may have gone, there was Mother Sheehan protesting, and no one ever asked how she got the money to travel all those places. She was the moral, anti-war voice of America until noon January 20, 2009. At that point criticism of the war went from moral courage to overt racism. Meet Sondra Andrews, another gold star mother. Her son, 2nd lieutenant Darren Andrews was killed searching for Bowe Bergdahl. And, as she said yesterday You mean my son was killed looking for a traitor? Hugo Chavez is dead, but anybody seen Jesse Jackson, Ed Asner or Sean Penn? Think Maureen Dowd is gonna call her Mother Andrews and tell us about her moral suasion? Expecting Rachel MadCow to feature her on her next show? Crickets. Nothing but crickets.
