anyone know the outcome of this crash? A PRAHRAN resident had his Sunday afternoon rudely disrupted when a police car ploughed through his front fence. Jayden Hicks said he was sitting in his Malvern Rd lounge room around 3pm when the vehicle smashed through his brick fence and mailbox. There was like a swerve and a skid and then the police sirens came on and it crashed through, Mr Hicks said. The passenger seemed to be pretty hurt. She wasnt in a good way. It took her a while to get out of the car. A nurse who had been nearby at the time rushed to help the injured police officer who had been sitting in the front passenger seat. The male driver was also treated for minor injuries. Additional police arrived promptly from the Malvern Rd police station to aid the officers and help with the removal of the car, finally dislodging it at 4:30pm. Mr Hicks said he was not told what caused the crash. Ill have to contact my real estate agent and everything and figure out what happens from here, he said. Police spokesman Senior Constable Adam West said the police officers were on their way to attend an emergency incident when they were clipped by a turning car. The police vehicle had its lights and sirens on at the time. Sen-Con West said the female driver in the other car was unharmed. Victoria Authority Exposed
