apologies comrades:im back in the slow lane.... had a scary hospital admission today.....and Im not looking for attention or sympathy-but i amwired upand feeling a little fragile,but intending to continue to do what i can. so please get ideas for our 2nd birthday for 30th August to me as soon as possible if you have not seen the minutes from the last committee(21st july)let me know and i will send/resend in trying to get an indoor and outdoor venue for 30th August,near Peel Precinct-Im hoping that we might find a place we can use as a base for our regular presence on the estate.it would be good to have a place from which we can organise leafleting and visiting tenants,as well as bringing together activists,professionals(practitioners)and peoples problems in one place. i stick to the view that we should nt become surrogate social workers or other professionals but that this would be a good way to organise our alternative.we are,after all,the alternative.....
