ar bay a Brummie The City of Birmingham wants to grow its territory and take over the West Midlands and the Black Country. It has plans for us to be known as Greater Birmingham. I am sorry but no thank you. Dont get me wrong I believe Birmingham is a great city and as done lots historically for this country. But no way am I happy for The Black Country to be used as a pawn in this second city status. The Black country has its own identity and historically is one of the most important places not only in England but on earth. We need to stand together on this and not allow Birmingham to try and take over our Black Country.
