arrangements have been made for the rally of BJPs PM pick Narendra Modi at the Majhaua airstrip, 4km from the district HQ town of Bhojpur, on April 10. This will be Modis first visit to Ara. A team of security personnel from Gujarat led by DIG A K Mallik has come to oversee the security arrangements. A 30x25 stage is being erected for the rally. Bhojpur ASP Ashish Ranjan said over 1000 police personnel, including the jawans of CRPF, BMP and Gujarat police along with Modis personal bodyguards in uniform and civvies, have been deployed at the ground. One hundred hand-held metal detectors, 15 door- frame metal detectors, anti-sabotage teams and bomb disposal squads besides sniffer dogs have been brought for security purposes for the rally. According to the ASP, security arrangements have also been made at the Ara railway station and on the banks of the Ganga flowing near the meeting ground. Meanwhile, the Jehanabad district administration has also made heavy bandobust to ensure foolproof security for Modis rally at the Aerodrome ground on the outskirts of Jehanabad town on April 10. This will be the first rally of NaMo in Jehanabad. Security personnel from Gujarat have already visited the rally venue.
