as a full time single father of an 8 year old girl, I realize something more and more as we grow together...a parent is what I am but parenting is what I do...parent as a noun vs parenting as a verb...I am a parent by obligation...I parent by choice...I wont always be around as a parent to make or guide her decisions...but I hope my parenting will... plenty of people say they are parents...how many prove it?...
