as well as raising the minimum wage considerably, id love to see a maximum wage introduced.... so folk on ridiculously high wages of £100,000 or more per year, get stripped back to, say.... £60,000 and use the rest of the money to create jobs for somebody else... jobshare... id also like to see massive NHS reforms, where all the business folk trying to run hospitals (currently 60% or so come from financial backgrounds and have no hospital background whatsoever, according to a nurse i spoke with), are given their P45, and reintroduce a system where doctors and nurses with lots of actual experience, working in hospitals, work their way into those positions, as they actually know how the system should work, so as to care for folk... The financial drain on the NHS because of these managers and their bonuses, and the ridiculous regulations that nurses on the floor are having to deal with, because of the ignorance of the managers, and their motivation for creating personal financial bonus opportunities is a ridiculous state of affairs, and a lot of patients arent getting the care they need, because they are just a business statistic... Id also like to see massive land reform, so the minority of folk with vast swathes of land, all throughout Scotland, sitting doing nothing, are asked to hand over 50% of their land, on a peppercorn rate, to groups of people who desire to set up permaculture farms/villages, so that high quality food can be produced and sold locally, and to really nourish the landscape... Id also like to see hemp being introduced as a major crop around the country as it has a multitude of highly beneficial uses... here are a few: * cleans up the atmosphere pollution, and nourishes the soil where it grows. * produces 4 times the amount of top quality paper each year, compared to tree based paper making. * highly efficient way to produce biodiesel, so we can cut down on dependence of fossil fuels, and its also cleaner to use. * Highly efficient way to produce biomass fuel instead of importing trees from canada to burn in electricty incinerators. * produces hempcrete which is biodegradeable and more endurable than regular concrete, so many benefits to that one. * and many more uses.... hundreds of them. Id also like to see Scotland investing the compressed air car industry, and set some targets for these cars to be used in cities, so as to cut down and eventually eliminate car based pollution.... these cars are already in production in France and have a range of 200 miles on a tank of AIR.... massive industry potential in that one. Id also like to see Scotland making an investment in an institute of excellence where the worlds leading pioneers of zero point energy can come and be supported to bring this suppressed technology to the world.... Within a few years im certain that Scotland would lead the way in producing electricity in a way that would see all the green power devices that we know of today, almost redundant and certainly do away with dependence on fossil fuels.... we would create the biggest industry known, almost overnight and also shine a light to the world, and every single house would have unlimited, free energy which is completely clean... For the meantime id like to see the power companies renationalised into a service that truly serves the people and for vulnerable pensioners with little money, allowed to have unlimited free electricity through the coldest 4 months of the year, so none of them are freezing to death to line the pockets of a few folk who have too much money already. maybe youve touched upon some of this in your book, which im looking forward to reading.... great for taking this vision forward guys... a much needed fresh, collective voice... it can only grow
