been seeing a lot of coke + milk = gunk so dont drink coke posts. made me curious so i looked it up: the phosphoric acid in coke attach to the milk particles giving them more density and separate out while the remaining liquid that makes up the milk and cocoa cola now being lighter floats on top. The solid brown matter is basically milk that has been curdled by the addition of the more acidic soda. Its not dangerous, your body will digest it all as food. yes, we should all limit/eliminate soda intake because we know it has a high sugar content, etc. but should you stop drinking coke because when you add milk to it you get a mixture that looks weird? sigh.
