bit.ly/18jOHc5 Very interesting data by google. It is surprising to see that the best performing economy in south asia is that of Sri Lanka! (on various parameters) The google web link is very easy to use, very informative. Choose different parameters from the left pane and see the difference. If you see per capita GDP then the story changes completely! What particularly surprises me is the fact India stands nowhere as per the past data which tells anybody that it is the "best" investment destination. Seems FII money is nothing but Delhi to Mumbai via Mauritius.
