bk2 pg53/ were from one another. “The female is right,” he told Thorothar.“The Dragonsoar have said one to another that your friend is in a locked cell on the bottom floor of that building.” “Are they all psychic too?” Thorothar asked.“Most of us have that capability, some more than others. We have these bands to further empower our abilities. And more than that, the Wyverns are also built to enhance our psychic powers.” “I’m beginning to feel left out here,” Thorothar muttered. Vrok gave a guttural command and the line of Wyverns dropped from the sky one by one and headed toward the roof of the low, strangely shaped building. They landed there, many brightly colored ships, each different from the other, reflecting their owner’s personality. The one that belonged to Vrok was black, the bottom of the ship a bright scarlet, with many colored streaks and swirls along the sides of the ship. A hatch opened up beneath Vrok’s Wyvern and a robotic arm swung out, placing what looked to be a simple door frame on the surface of the roof. The ships sat in a long row. The dragons sat silently inside them.“What are we waiting for?” Thorothar whispered. “He’s doing something,” Cebalari whispered back. “What?”Cebalari shook her head. Vrok had one hand on the jeweled headband he wore. His eyes were closed. A low, thrumming growl came from his throat. “Is he singing?” Thorothar asked, still in a whisper. Cebalari gave a half shrug, she had no idea what the dragonwas doing. Vrok stood then from his seat. His head was near the overhead of the Wyvern’s bridge. “We are ready now,” he said. “We have inserted the door so that we may enter the building.” “A door?” Thorothar asked.
