born of death, I, back at home, try to forget those horrible experience of the terrible flood that consumed a beautifully traditional and historic city, Kashmir. I kneel before the magnanimity of all living in peace for the welfare of Kashmir that the onus is on us to give Kasmir the warmth of consolation and thus a normal life for which all of us must contribute what we can yet sincerely and free of biases and prejudices. thank all who helped me to be rescued from the flooded city after a procession of horrendous situations and experiences. One long walk of two kms in throat deep water with my son being carried on head by an unknown Ledakhi brother.........Two days in a hotel the ground floor of which was consumed by water in two hours at night........two days there with no drinking water nor food....... A long walk of 15 kms from there carrying my son and wife and a boy namely shaffeque from perinthal manna with no one to give any kind of help.... Three days in an army cantonment with no food nor water, totally exposed to sunlight and heavy cold without blankets in the nights.......... The harsh unforgettable realities and those nightmarish experiences, no word can express it in any way........ I mourn for those many infants ill treated by terrible death by water......... I mourn for those many who were taken by water in the dead of slumber..........I mourn for all who suffered the before death suffocation in the terrible embrace of Jhelem river and Dal lake.....I am certain that nature has no bias; it treats rich and poor, child and old, man and woman, human and animal, flora and fauna etc. alike.....suffering is genuine and natural when it flows from nature itself. let us forget it coz nature remains the same despite our words against and in favor of it. What matters, nothing, it prevails and at the end mans ego and arrogance fail. fail totally. nature counter sign it and leaves to the history that never tries to read the invaluable signs given to us in advance by the same nature. I request all to help........... Here I retire to have more words on the experience next time...
