boy oh boy did a Marine in dress blues show up. A Gunnery Sgt. A hardcore Marine, let me tell ya. he is the talk of the nurses station. He is right out of a movie. Sgt Mom tried her best to respond. But she is fading. She kept wanting to hold his hand and wanted him to feed her her Popsicle. When he said he is on the funeral Marine team and he might be one of the team, she perked up and said, YES! I doubt she will survive the weekend. The nursing home cannot take people back on the weekends so she is stuck at Mass General until Monday. so sad. She cannot see her friends at the home to say goodbye. It will be a miracle if she makes it back to the home. I am worried because at the home she would get hospice care. here she is not really getting that. I came home to take a shower and take a break. Mom got all upset when I first was not going back there. So I told her I would. i am exhausted. But she desperately wants me. If she was back at the nursing home i could leave her but i can;t leave her at mass general where she doesnt know anyone. if anyone from the home wants to see her she is in room 1630 Ellison building. she would love to see some familiar faces. If any other Marines want to come by, please do. No notice is needed. Just show up
