#breakingNews!!! WE ARE NOT READY FOR DEMONSTRATIONS. I have heard that there are some top SONU leaders who are planning to call University Students to the streets top riot over issues which do not concern them at all. At this century am surprised that there are still some irresponsible creatures that depend on throwing stones and looting from the public for them to gain fame. Yes I do support demonstrations but it must be for reasonable issues which everybody understands. At this time students are nearing their end-semester examinations we are not going to allow anybody mislead us. This habit of going to the streets now and then whenever grass sprouts is an outdated way of doing things. There are better ways we can address issues as a young learned generation other than going to the streets, closing highways and looting, destroying innocent people’s property. I know this demonstration planners will come up with their cheap PR of peaceful demonstrations but history has it they have said it before and we have witnessed them incite students go rowdy and destroy property. Above all I have come to realize that this Student leaders use students for demonstrations for their personal gains. They use these innocent followers to get huge bargaining powers so that they can extract money from the government and other stake holders in the political arena. We are not going to allow anybody to use us fill his belly anymore. We must regain our good reputation and bury this bad notion of hooliganism the public has towards students, especially in the University of Nairobi.
