bubbies are safely ensconced on the plane and it is on-time, en route to DTW :) We are so incredibly blessed! Each day unfolded with peace - even today - that was a bit full/tight/unknown was just as it was meant to be. Weve been from Carmel to Sausalito and in between in 4 days (3 days we trekked into the city at some point). A great adventure!!! today we drove through Los Gatos so the girls could see where I lived last year on our way to Santa Cruz to go paddle boarding. which they loved! we drove Hwy 1 from SC to the golden gate on our way to one of the sf aquariums, where they bought cheesy souvenirs :) on pier 39. the directions from there to dinner took us past Japan Town (where they had a beautiful fan sculpture on one of the boulevards - inspiring me to plan to go back and find one of those fans I keep talking about). Judahlicious was closed , so we got Celias takeout and enjoyed dinner at Ocean beach as the sun was setting. to sfo with plenty of check-in time. peace. I wonder how many miles I put on my car. So glad I love to drive! we have so many pix to post! Beauty beauty beauty! And now a new bucket list for their next visit. I usually post 4 words or so to capture the essence of a day... pondering which 4 capture the fullness and all that is still unfolding.
