can you imagine being allergic to sunshine? incredible story! More reasons why I love Plexus, so much more than weight loss! Read on.... This morning I watched the sun rise... For those of you that know me thats HUGE!! Im allergic to the sun and havent allowed myself to be exposed to it in 4 years... I was diagnosed when I had a blistery rash from head to toe and the biopsy came back as Discoid Lupus.. it changed my life. My best days were dead of winter when the sun wasnt up yet before I went to work and it was already down when I came home.. Id stay in for lunch so Id never have to see the sun...I could go shopping after work, and when the rain was out I could put my umbrella away!! But summer was another story for me!! Id stopped accepting invitations to things.. my friends would say Its ok, its in the shade but my problem was GETTING there.. it was a fight just to leave my house and stay out of the sun... THE SUN IS EVERYWHERE!! Well 2 months ago I started Plexus... It has helped me with so many things, so I thought What if??... Well, I decided to test the waters a few days ago and exited my house in short sleeves (YES, I WAS NOT COVERED HEAD TO TOE IN THIS HEAT!!!) and braved the sun on my skin. I walked around and lifted my face toward the sky and let the suns rays warm my face for the first time in years... I was scared but hopeful... I HAVE BEEN OUTSIDE SEVERAL TIMES NOW AND NOT ONE BLISTER ANYWHERE TO BE SEEN!!!!! You have no idea what this means to me, but I feel like I have been given a second chance, and I plan on enjoying every bit of it!! Im going to the Chili Cookoff tomorrow night!! Its something I havent allowed myself to do because its not easy to maneuver a huge umbrella with a crowd of people... but instead of going as Mary Poppins I get to go as ME!!! Just me... The following pics are some of the rare times Ive braved the outside to do things with my family. A trip to Disneyland to see my awesome kid, a Fathers Day trip to Marine World... and one of the best but hardest days, my sons college graduation... I didnt want to embarrass him because I kind of stand out.. But the last pic is me yesterday with the sun shining down on me and my joy in realizing that my life is MINE again and Im going to enjoy the fact that Im able to do these things again, and I will ALWAYS appreciate what I have!!! I just realized something... every person in these pics (except the kids) have gotten healthier because of Plexus... EVERY ONE of us looks and feels better today because of it! WOW!! I want to thank some ladies... These wonderful ladies, some that I never would have met otherwise, but am so blessed to have in my life now... Thank you Monique, Misti , Andrea , Jessica and finally my sis Denise ... if EACH ONE of you never decided to share Plexus with the next person, it never would have found me, and I just cant imagine living the life I used to live... so from the bottom of my now healthier heart...THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
