#chinese_debt_crisis Chinas debt has risen to 230% of its GDP.....this is alarming the Chinese policy makers because such huge debts may lead to economic slowdown and credit crisis .... The problem is not really with the amount of credit taken ....the problem is with the way the credit is used or misused....Indian govt. also borrows a lot from various sources but if the credit is invested properly,say in order to set up the right infrastructure,then the credit will be a boon and not a bane ........the idea is : u borrow but u spend the borrowed amount well....however,India does not do well in spending the amount rationally...there is a lot of wastage of borrowed amount...... China,on the other hand,has been able to do much better in spending the borrowed amount well........however,of late,china ,too,seems to be faltering on this ......reckless spending has increased in china too......this forms the core of Chinese debt crisis......fortunately,china has got huge foreign reserves and low loan-to-deposit ratio and current account surplus.....but these things may not play that important a role in resolving this debt crisis because the real problem lies with the right spending of credit.......but china may find out a solution to this soon... #President_addresses_the_nation_on_26th_Jan president says : populist anarchy cant replace good governance. (hinting at kejriwal) #RBI_plans_to_hike_base_rate Interest rate hiking would reduce inflation,as intended by the RBI,because it would leave lesser liquidity in the market....RBI also says that it may go for CPI in future.....CPI and WPI are two indices meant to judge the inflation in the country.....CPI measures the inflation at the consumer level ;it also gives weightage to services;it also gives more weightage to food as compared to WPI which gives lower weightage to food and which also neglects services... #SC_says_no_to_review_petition_in_case_of_sec_377... India is a complex country....some want to go west...some east.....consequently,we move nowhere.....bdw state should not have the right to peep in the personal spaces of its citizens ... #tunisia_passes_her_new_constitution this is a good news for all the nations which were caught in the Arab Spring/upsurge because Tunisia was the starting point of the entire uprising.... :)
