collaboration & creative roll call: Glori Ovalle Laura Bedrick Sarah Piccola Jessica Slagle Molly Jahn Michele Molier Marissa Ward So I went venue hunting, Im starving to put on some shows, lets pool together our talents and throw some parties. In my hood I found 2 venues with chill staff, forward thinking ideals and immaturity that allow us to start something. 1. Bergn - new bougie beer hall with decks and connection to brooklyn flea 2. Friends & Lovers - small bar with back stage & outside courtyard I want to throw 2 events lets say in janurary & february, one being more music based but still with a bazaar feel want to pull together female djs, call it Rhythm & Gash - that pun came to me in a dream. Would love ot find a vinyl bass female dj Kind of a grime and forward experiemental bass night with some extra including djs and artisans to come through in the Bergn market hall space. Another, Witchcraft or The Craft again centered around our jewelery craftsmen and also music. What can you offer, what do you think? who wants to help? what do ya think? Id love to get Lbqt involved too, i just dont have the connects.
