.#continued ....My patience was almost exhausted..but just before I could sigh and maybe tell this old busy body woman off, our bus came to a hault.. #i felt my own eyes rolling# what was the problem, our vehicle had developed a problem and had to be fixed, they had to go in search of a mechanic *searching for a mechanic lasted not less than 60 minutes... I was restless, constantly checking on my wrist watch, which wasnt even waiting for me. Then came this big lorry, it parked just beside me, the driver of the lorry came down and sympathised with us, then he was about to take off when I asked him in the most innocent voice ever, #sir please, were are you headed?# Abuja, he replied.. I didnt wait for him to tell me you can join us... The seats were filled up already, so I had to sit at the back #i dont know if you have ever seen a 911 truck loaded with yams...then imagine me #a very tiny figure# sitting on top of all those yams with my bag hugging me tightly and my hands constantly trying to drag my mini gown... *i have always claimed I loved adventures, but this one.. Smh*I wept inside me...after another 4 or 5 hours drive, the driver stopped, came down and asked were I wanted to alight. *obviously we were in Abuja at last* I quickly checked my phone and got the address.. Showed it to the driver and our journey continued... The next moment, I was face to face with what seemed like a 7 star hotel...I wasnt the only contestant, but as I tried to climb down from the lorry, I obviously caught the attention of everybody in the premises... Oh holy molly!!! I prayed silently in my heart constantly repeating Oh sweet angel of death, come ye swiftly and take me now... Wait ye no further I thanked the driver and walked past the already captivated audience..everybody came in tushed rides nd I came in a glorified 911...#God, you must bless my hustle... Amen# I could hear the wisphers from those receptionist*who forgot they had businesses to attend to* I learnt the deadline for registration had been extended..#this people eh#. I finished all my processes, all this with my bag clinging to my arms, I was handed the key to my room *one full room to me alone :D heheheheh* I walked to my room and had my shower, soaked myself with Comfortability had a good night rest and waited for this competition. The next day was exceptional, I was attended to in my room.. #breakfast in bed things*, I opened one eye and smiled. *this is what I should be getting all the time, and I promise you daddy, I will make nothing less than a first class ;D...after everything in the room, I walked graciously out, straight to the gym.*according to our timetable* had a body work.. Then I realised this silly people had nicknamed me 911 babe.. *fools, 911 is for emergency gosh* Later that night, it was time for our presentation, I took my time to prove this people wrong, I came out of my room, dazzling in a knee length, black tommy skirt, which was tightly accompanied with a milk and black flowerd designed blouse....- brushed my hair, very light makeup.. And I was looking Chicky and dapper as I walked in... I had to make dis pipu know I wasnt just a 911 babe.. They was more.. And I didnt dull.. After a long presention.. To my greatest joy, I emerged as winner... My joy knew no bounds, as I walked the hall way trying to figure out my room, I heard he wisphers again.. That babe is a stunner #funny how God changes you from a 911 babe to a stunner# The next day, I had a car drop me in the airport.. I had to take a flight back to calabar..*see levels*.. As I walked past the receptionists and the tushed girls and boys who were already obviously waiting for their cars to come pick them.. I smiled, winked and couldnt help but Rabbit walk...one of the guys asked me hello miss, how did you do it?? I only responded travel in a lorry (911) and Boost your Morals.. #story-of-a-typical-bored-chick-#
