could it no just a corroded wire ? im having a problem with my bike .R1 2002 5pw.. its fine for about 20mins then cuts out.. saying err1.i have found if i turn the headlamp off whilst going along it will restart .. then if i turn the sidelights whist just having cut back on it will say err2 and splutter .. then if i need to stop (and fill up lets say) the starter wont turn her over and the engine light comes on and the relay makes a buzz noise and the speedo reads err2 . i have reset the bikes diagnosis and put charge in the battery. the bike will start as normal and will seem fine .. i am yet to check her without the headlight whilst riding to determine weather be something to do with that... any ideas peeps its just had a brand new generator and battery at the shop after it happened the first time... i did 77 miles after leaving the shop... i live 163miles away and they said bring it back.... ive not really got the cash to go back and forth...
