dareme4charity/campaign/aboutTheShow About the Show Welcome to Dare Me For Charity, a story about our journey across the United States, trying to find people willing to come together and make a leap for their charity. We wanted to create something fun and exciting for nonprofits and their supporters to engage with each other, raise money in many different ways, and have fun through the entire process. Most importantly, we wanted to create something that could sustain itself for a very long time to come. This journey will not be easy… we will face adversity… and many will doubt its even possible to rally communities on a national scale of this magnitude. But we believe it is possible… and we intend to find those who want to be a part of this wonderful journey. This project can only work if everyone comes together to make it a reality. Our first goal is to create an awesome challenge that would test the courage of these communities, from safe to scary heights, and we put together some prize money to motivate them to conquer any fear they may have for a good cause. And the bigger the participation we can get, the bigger the prizes can be for everyone. Our next goal is to document this journey for the world to see… both the good, and the bad… how it comes together, and where things come apart. And in the end, will we reach all 42 cities? or will we fall short? With each leg of our tour totaling a stretch of 6 cities at a time, and being 100% dependant on the support of these communities… its going to be a test of everyones determination to reach all 42 cities and complete the entire journey. But should we succeed, and reach every one of them… we can help thousands of charities that are impacting millions of lives for the better. And isn’t that worth the effort? Our third goal is to share that journey with a national television audience, so they can bear witness to what happens when people come together in their own communities for a common good. And finally, when this journey airs, we use the advertising revenue to create an additional prize to support two more challenges, that raise more money and awareness for these charities, to demonstrate yet again, how amazing people can be if given the opportunity. So whether you believe in the journey, or have your doubts, the one thing that matters most is these charities and the people that support them. They are why we are doing this, and they are what keeps us motivated to endure every obstacle along this journey on the road to Dare Me For Charity. Will people come together?
