data2.whicdn/images/68953628/thumb.jpg So I discovered this trend. I was browsing a forum when I saw an entire section devoted to uploads of feminists drinking from their male tears mugs. Towards the end there was as separate collection specifically reserved for white male tears mugs. At first I was like meh but then something between my ears decided to wake up and enjoy the moment. Although I will always regard the pursuit of true feminism as one of the greatest recent accomplishments throughout human history, these modern feminists... theyre so ... like... I dunno... something? If they do intend to make some kind of statement about the disregard of the struggle of others, based on colour or on gender I feel like this is counter intuitive for two reasons. One, feminism... equality... equal... everyone equal... very important point youre kind of countering. Two, it seems very isolating? Like, projecting apathy towards others is usually a pretty good way to get it back. Telling other people that nobody cares about them and that they should stop complaining and then holding up a sign talking about your problems seems like a good first step to an empty audience. When do we get the feminists back that want to be president? The ones who want to make lots of money in business and the ones who genuinely want whats best for everyone? Can they be the ones showing up in my facebook feed? That would be great! Id like the crap out of those posts. I realize I cant realistically hope that every time I encounter a feminist it will be some awe inspiring hero wearing a niqab but seriously, can we not turn feminism into another reason to spread negativity? Weve corrupted holy scriptures, weve staged political events, weve found limitless ways of turning ourselves against each other, why dont we just start working together and stop pointing the fingers?
