day 3 of art challenge for 5 days & silk, silver wire embroidered cuffs & brooche with lavender seeds. silver wire embroidery technique is part of anatolian culture.i like to use traditional forms and techniques in experimental ways resulting in modern design. embroidery cuff has been made on fine silk fabric with cotton threads and real lavender seeds. i applied various techniques. i made a drawing first and then transformed it into embroidery. ...and i nominate Ebru Taneri Yılmaz ♥ she has just started the inspirational fairy path of an artist. surely, she will have deserved success soon. she was one of sweet customer thats how we met. and still our friendship continues. she is a talented sweet lady and architect. even though she is living another city. we had lot of coffee time in Istanbul and enjoyed that :) she does amazing stitch point jewellry and creates with love in such details. she reflects classical ottoman culture with modern touch. she is getting ready for an art exhibition. i wish good luck Ebru ♥ & Xxx
