dear doctors you might have seen the video related to insults of doctors by the buerocrats and health minister using derogatory and inflammatory language against doctors coupled with these peoples insisting on administration to suspend a TMO simply on the ground that he was not wearing white coat. we are seeing these incidents happening now on a regular basis. All this is happening because doctors are not united and split into differnet sections like firqas, and going in different directions. this will continue to happen till we are split and not united on one platform. similarly another incident happened in Nephrology Unit of KTH when attendants of a patient verbally abused the duty doctor and threatened him of dire consequences. i had resigned from presidentship of PDA because i didnt want the doctors community to remain further fragmented, so thatbifndoctors cannot unite on another platform, i would welcome that and work as ordinary member, but i saw that doctors could not be defended in absence of a viable PDA and in these instances, i once again with help of doctors community tried to sort out issues related to doctors dignity. at the same time, all associations of doctors specially Malgari Doctors, Insaf Doctors Forum, Peoples Doctors Forum and PMA again and again approached me to raise my arms and voice against the cruelty against doctors. though i had decided to retire from presidentship of PDA but these incidents and requests from all these associations, provincial cabinet and friends have finally compelled me to take back my decision so i am actively joining back PDA with a big bang and will leave no stone unturned for the cause of doctors. moreover the long térm issues of sérvice structure, pay raise of tmos and many other issued have not matérialized despite tall claims by a dissident group of doctors, as they were played, tricked and made fools by the higher up authorities. i still say that our strength lies in our unity on one platform, so please come forward, join us, strengthen us, and lets join hands together for long térm solutions to our problems. i am thankful to all of you for showing your concern, and let me promise you that i am among you, and always available for you people. long live doctors unity long live PDA Dr Jamshed Saeed President PDA KTH
