delighted with the interest & large number of local people who have booked to attend our Digital Inclusion Training Day next Tuesday at the Heronston Hotel. Being online is vital in todays society and so many disabled people do not know how to or have never used the internet, excluding many from jobs and social activities. It is also vital all remain safe online and sadly some do get abused and bullied online. On the day Tina from Disability Wales will be helping and teaching people how to better use the internet and how to be safe online and will also have different aids and adaptions to make it easier for people with different impairments to use computers equipment. Will also be great to meet and engage with new people and involve them with future Bridgend Coalition of Disabled People projects and events. Many thanks to Disability Wales for all their assistance in bringing this event to Bridgend.
