driving home from the block party this evening and traffic was slowed just after i turned onto amsterdam...i thought maybe there was a wreck because highway patrol was there. no wreck ~ there was a huge moose in the field south of the road...it was running back and forth along the fence line...very scared and confused. :( . finally took refuge in a little stand of trees with the highway patrol parked nearby. poor moose is FAR away from home...lost and scared. it was pretty cool to see a moose right in my (almost) front yard, but i feel bad for it. i pray she finds her way home safely...
