{events of my time} MUHAMMAD RASHEED OTU, REST IN PERFECT PEACE INNALILLAHI WAINA ILEIHI RAJIUN! From Almighty Allah we (all the living souls) come and onto Him certainly, we shall return (for fair and unbiased judgment). I am a firm believer of the above-quoted undeniable and unarguable statement of Almighty God, hence I am bound to abide by it whenever DEATH strikes. Naturally, when the SUN SET, it sets for us to retire home from daily routine of our various human activities, then relax and later go to bed for brief and temporary rest/sleep before the same Sun rises the following day. However, we are very much aware of the plain fact that some of us may witness the setting of the Sun but not when it rises. Vis-à-vis when it rises and not when it sets. All depends on how Almighty Allah has designed our destiny. It was on this same day last week, Tuesday 18th day of June, 2013, far away in my home country, the ancient city of Okene in Kogi State where the EVIL HANDS sniffed lives from my dearest brother-in-law, MUHAMMAD RASHEED OTU (aka Muhammad AYAKO) and his lovely friend (a very young promising Igbo man from Abia State) who was with him as at the time when the sudden death struck. Muhammad Rasheed was sitting at the edge of a mini fence surrounding his father’s Filling Station opposite Okene cemetery along Okene-Benin Road, according to an eyewitness report, with his beloved friend and a cousin brother, having witnessed the Sun set that faithful evening, then taking a brief relaxation before going to bed as usual, when the UNREPENTANT EVIL MEN in that land arrived the premises and commanded them to lie down before they forcefully took the lives of the INNOCENT SOULS. Though, unlike Muhammad Rasheed and his beloved friend, his cousin brother who was the third person in their midst, according to a reliable source, was so lucky as he briskly jumped over the mini fence to escape while the bullet fired at him only hit his hand. Meanwhile the unrepentant agents of SATAN were reported to have mutilated the body of one of the Innocent victims who happened to be the young Igbo man. Well, I think it may be necessary for me to stop at this juncture, because today I am not really in the mood of writing, but just to cry to the omnipotent GOD who sees and knows everything for His DIVINE INTERVENTION. His immediate family and the Nigerian Police Force should have the rest and details of the SAD EVENT. The only thing that amazes me about this terrible incident is the callous idea of someone hiring PROFESSIONAL ASSASIN to go and eliminate a every young innocent man in his PRIME AGE like Muhammad Rasheed. Where else have heard of such before under no circumstance, if not now in Ebiraland? If we claim that we have a King and other Royal Fathers including the fake and self-acclaimed Community or Political Leaders, yet Evil Acts of this high magnitude still persist in the land, are we really sincere with ourselves? What about the religious leaders that have thrown themselves into DILEMA? Any hope for the future generation? As I used this medium to cry to Almighty Allah for His divine and immediate intervention on this unimaginable scandalous atrocity, I will also like to remind all and sundry that every EVIL committed anytime and anywhere in the world will never go unpunished. Is either now or later and if not by man it will be certainly by God Almighty. MUHAMMAD RASHEED OTU, we love you dearly but Almighty Allah loves you most. We cannot really describe how very precious you were to us and the highest value we attached to your personality when you were alive and after your sudden exit from this crazy, dirty and wicked world. But we take solace from the fact that surely you have gone to the sacred world (aljanatul firdaus) of Almighty Allah. May the Almighty Allah grant your gentle and ebullient soul and that of your lovely friend eternal rest in Aljanatul firdaus and may He also grant your most beloved mother and beloved wife who are the worst hit and your beloved family including your sympathizers across the globe the needed fortitude to bear this very tragic and painful loss. I have set a special day for your special tribute. THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES!
