exactly what i have been saying for years. a shred helmet is just a shitty piece of high density foam with a plastic shell. for real protection you would need a full face motorbike lid. a helmet will protect you from cutting your head, but not from smashing your brains in, therefore using one for skiing, snowboarding and push iron riding is more about making people FEEL safer rather than actually making them safer. ahhh, the illusion of safety...
