Saturday 2-3ft offshore in the morning Sunday 2ft light winds in the morning POTS = Beachies look best Next Swell = Cyclone Bansi is looking like making its way from northern Madagascar to under the South West Capes of WA. On Tuesday we should start feeling the effect of a change in swell direction with waves coming from the west. The most effect should be on Wednesday flowing into Thursday with the swell building in the first half of that period. It could get up to 10ft in the sets and most of the WA coastline should get some. This system is so big that almost every coastline on the perimeter of the Indian Ocean - from South Africa to Somalia to Arabia, India Indonesia and sweeping around to us in WA should get some swell from it. The east coast of Madagascar is getting thumped at the moment. Anyway its time to make sure you get your gear checked out and well see you in the water. Hopefuly well get the fullest effect from the westerly swell.
