#fbf ...a little over a year ago I shared this little video, and as I stumbled over it this morning I thought it would be a great illustration for the day. I find great delight in capturing His creation on camera and sharing it with each of you. This is a --- Hickory Horned Devil --- which will eventually turn into the --- Royal Walnut Moth. But before this devilish caterpillar becomes a royal moth it must be transformed. For this to happen the Hickory Horned Devil will burrow itself in the ground for a couple of seasons and it will awaken out of the earth as a regal moth. During that time it will go from a creature that looks threatening and quite devilish to a beautiful specimen that is stunningly regal and magnificently royal. And for a new creature in Christ this is beautiful picture of the transformation and difference that Gods redeeming grace makes in the life of a sinner --- one thats been been buried and raised in Christ --- that is to say, someone whos been made a new creature in Christ Jesus --- for them, old things pass away; behold, all things become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17 ; 1 Peter 2:9-12) I love the parallel and revisiting this glorious illustration of redemption. Grace makes a world of difference... Blessings friends, may you have a lovely day recognizing the beauty of His grace, glory and creation. #btwmywomaniscominghome #iknowurexcitedforme #blessings
