female brains tend to develop more as distributed networks with processing balanced across both hemispheres. male brains tend to develop as more linear processing, with dominance in the left hemisphere of the brain. of course there are many exceptions, but this is just the observed neurobiological effect of hormone cocktails in utero. this leads me to believe that "queer" brains tend to be more creative, because they probably fall somewhere in between these two extremes. like superhuman brains, the best of both worlds. thus you tend to see a high proportion of LGBTQ individuals among the higher echelon of artists, writers, fashion designers, and other expressions of creative genius.
