first 7 years of growing phase of our childrens life come more demanding for us as parents as they depend a lot on us in such tender age of theirs...seeking to get nurtured in most gentle, reassuring yet fun ways...next year my daughter shall enter her first grade in schooling and that will bring demand on her for more focused and relatively long hours of sitting and contemplating on subjects of her study at home...so thought what can be the best way to cultivate the seeds of patience, concentration, importance of attempting in an act even though that brings failure to begin with in a FUN way, INDIRECTLY ...and came up with this idea of making a castle out of cards...have played this a lot as a child and it was such pleasure to undergo moments of failure, frustrations, anger, giving up,again gathering will to reattempt and finally succeeding...could make 2 story castle together with her- the joy on her face at the end was ohhhhhhh!!!! she made 2 of her dolls reside in the castle--gently...i guess now she definitely knows what is GENTLE and TRY :)...as after failing n numbers of time in building the castle out of cards-she knew being gentle and and yet trying was the only way out to succeed ... i am sure this play which now she is attempting more often will bring more subtle messages that shall go a long way for her as she grows,,playfully...
