for anyone who travels, or is wanting to travel, this is a snippet of one of my travel diaries, whilsts travelling in Europe, Enjoy: Monday 27th September 2010 Today was a big one. We got up and had breaky at 9:00 and then went to the perfumery where Abbi and I both bought pure perfume that smells amazing. We then went on a river cruise where you could see all of the buildings. Everything here is so beautiful. After the cruise we went to the Louve and saw Mona Lisa, Venice De Milo and other Divinci paintings, so good to see in real life. The louve is massive, the roof even had paintings on it. We went to the souvenir shops and bought a few bits and pieces, Ok, now this is where our story really starts. Lol. Its now that we decide that we want to go back to the hotel. We started walking, trying to get taxis and get in one. We told him the name of the hotel, we had no address or map. The guy said he new it and started driving, he stopped out the front of the FOUR SEASONS, not ALL SEASONS. Completely opposite side, he said he didn’t know our hotel so dropped us off at the Eurostar train station. 30e (30 euros). We then started walking again for about an hour, asking people in shops if they knew our hotel and found a taxi who knew it, he took us to the wrong one, but the same chain/company. So we got the girl there to organise a ride back to our hotel. We finally made it, just in time to get dressed and meet at th Moulin Rouge. It was amazing! So beautiful, between the six of us on our table we went through 6 bottles of wine and a bottle of (French) champagne. After that the girls (Abbi & Ange) were drunk so we went to the Oz Bar across the road. Met some cool people, did flaming shots, Ange threw up in Abbi’s drink, Abbi Didnt realise and drank it, then she wanted to throw up! So i herded everyone into a taxi, home and everyone passed out. Lol Great day!
