for my hunting friends/family only… youve seen similar ones a thousand times before, but this guy does the best job of keeping it simple and to the point. THERE IS NO EXCUSE to go up in a tree and not come down safely anymore. Watch the whole video.. its not long at all… if you had time enough to read this paragraph, you had time enough to watch it. I am taking this year off from bowhunting (as I did last year) because I dont want to cut corners and go out unprepared and not have all the safety equipment. 2008 was a costly season for me and Ill pay for that for the rest of my life…. but you dont have to. It takes an extra few minutes to think about what were doing before we do it to make sure were safe! I strongly encourage you to really watch and SHARE this video.. even if you think youve seen it or think its boring… Ill tell ya what is boring and what makes you feel rotten… try spending 3 months in a rehab hospital after waking from a month long coma and not remembering your family when you wake up (I consider myself lucky for waking up at all). Many hunters have had close calls with accidents and ones that theyll never tell anyone about. Obviously, many people know about mine… but, Id rather they know and learn safety from hunters like me so they avoid this problem.
