#freelance tip: Keep you skills and the part they play in your clients project in perspective. Nothing is more tiring than the designer who thinks they are curing cancer or the copywriter who believes they are a celebrity. You perform a useful, skilled service. But you are not a brain surgeon. You dont save people from forest fires. And the world would still turn if you didnt turn up for work tomorrow. If you find you are feeling the pinch of work and have lost joy for the day-to-day, take a break. Because the reality is, you are no good to your own freelance endeavours, nor are you doing any of your fellow freelancers any favours, by being an egotistical jerk.
