from Emily: Hello everyone! Im a Jersey girl moving home from the UK and may need to secure a place at a day nursery for my one-year-old daughter. I understand that some nurseries will only take children from their parish so I guess that could influence where we home-hunt (if a particular nursery stood out to us.) Ive found a list of all nurseries available online but does anyone know which are parish-only and which are open to all? Also I was wondering if there is any kind of regulation/inspection system like Ofsted for day nurseries on the island? Im pretty sure the schools are Ofsted regulated but not sure about pre-schools. TIA!
