fundamentalism seems to be a kind of group conceptual incestuousness* that binds an understanding in common, while suspicion, fear and loathing operate as a modi operandi of shoot first ..and maybe ask questions later the subtlety of which doesnt stop with those we call terrorists but likely also the thoughts and concepts we project onto others in differentiation as foreign, not us. Our ignoring and the reflex of separation has more to do with the way we narrow possibility and possibilizing for ourselves with the expanse of potential human experience rather than any so called reality having to do with other. Living like this as so many of us do, we maintain an ongoing relationship with our own concepts and projections themselves rather than seeing nakedly and with openness. As they provoke us from within, we project culprits outwardly while feeding our insatiable appetite for congruence from the news feed or blog of our choice. Truthfully, when we lay down at night, its rare for us to feel good about ourselves or the world. With a mind so fraught with mistrust and dissatisfaction we need our outlets and the props of our particular display But its possible to break from this cycle. There is a sky inside each of us that once discovered is free and clear of all this. Because in truth, none of it is who we really are. We only need recognize the suffering and unhappiness its brought to us. Curiosity beyond old ways, is welcoming and essential, and in the silence of this moment we find love and truth whispering to us: its possible ___________ * (of human relations generally) excessively close and resistant to outside influence.
