gargunnock 4 gartocharn 2 gargunnock ran out comfortable winners in this top end of the table fixture.right from the start, the home side looked right up for it ,creating a good few chances but as per usual ,could not find the opening goal.and as per after some sloppy defending gartocharn took the lead against the run off play.but tonight was all about gargunnock who showed that they have belief and quality in there side as the struck twice before the interval with a goal from simon"macca"mcmenemy(not saying too much about his first) and a delightful lob from del boy hunter to take them to half time one up. half time gargunnock 2 gartocharn 1 into the second half and once again numerous chances came and went for gargunnock before gartocharn got a penalty kick which was duly converted to draw the game level.it was totally against the run of play but the gunnie responded with a goal from simon MACCA mcmenemy that was worthy of winning any match.two words!WORLD CLASS. a superb bicycle kick from 14 yards gave us the lead which extended to 4-2 with a penalty ,converted by del boy. great performance and a great result tonight lads. chuffed to bits. no bests for tonight as every one deserves credit but a big up for captain anderson who filled in with the gloves tonight. cmon the gunnie team anderson,hay,kirkpatrick,j. young morris hansom,corry,d. hunter,stevenson,carruthers,mcmenemy. subs s. hunter c . heron r. mcsporran
