giving thanks every day the last cat standing, Luke, is 16! today. my Frankenkitty now has many shaved patches of fur which will never grow back, the scars of battling for his health. he looks as if he has unevenly-pulled up socks on his front legs, the remains of being on ivs for two weekends in a row at the Emergency Vet. his belly will always be smooth from the ultrasound. and even a spot on his tail wasnt spared, as the blood pressure cuffs attachment point. the lymphoma is slowly but surely taking him away as he continues to lose weight, but im grateful hes willing to wear a tube sock to keep warm and IT IS finally becoming Spring. then here he lays sleeping with his brothers favorite Puppy.
