had an interesting conversation with an art consultant in chicago today. always be ready to propose available works within a basic color scheme (my advice). i know that sounds horribly commercial, but you CAN make work that satisfies basic color criteria without sacrificing your mojo. or am i wrong? i have cultivated a variety of color palettes ever since my husband said not everyone like green and brown. i thought, oh well, why not learn about different color spaces? and why not see those in my current environment and benefit from it? i love working with difficult color palettes. i think it is a cornerstone of my work. or maybe i am a complete whore. (but i really dont think so).
